The Columbus Dispatch - "A Young Rebel Revels in Street Style"
Jeanne Fryer-Kohles of the Columbus Dispatch covered Daniel's first solo exhibition in the Sunday edition of the paper. Dan, then a Senior at Columbus College of Art and Design, titled the exhibition at Dragonfly Art Gallery "BC" (Beyond Control). After viewing the exhibit and interviewing the artist, Fryer-Kohles noted "Fila, a young artist in a transitional phase of his career, appears to have the tenacity to stay in touch with his rebel core in whatever guise it may manifest itself".
